Wednesday, March 20th is the 10th Annual United We Read program. On this day, volunteers become guests in the classrooms of schools across the county to read to the students. Several local businesses will allowed employees time off to read, and many parents and grandparents joined the fun as well!
The event encourages students in their reading, and highlights that the success of students relies on the community surrounding them. This event works towards the United Way 3rd grade reading level goals.
